Date honey - not bee honey - was the actual honey of the ancient "land of milk and honey". Our date honey is imported from a small farm near the Sea of Galilee. We blend the date honey for 24 hours with fresh Upstate NY dairy cream and 100% American grain neutral spirits. The result is the world's most delicious cream liqueur.
In ancient times, Judean date honey mixed with milk was prized for its flavor. The Roman general Antony was such a fan, he gave Queen Cleopatra date plantations as a symbol of his love. This romantic tale captured our imagination, and inspired our drop necklace design!
